Housing Development

HCCDC works with tribal, and federal partners to expand affordable housing on the Winnebago Reservation through homeownership assistance and the management of 47 affordable rental units. 

Financial Services

HCCDC partners with Ho-Chunk Community Capital Corporation, a certified CDFI, to provide financial education, credit-building support, down payment assistance coordination, and access to capital and technical assistance for tribal members and local small businesses.

Quality of Life

HCCDC convenes community partners to address quality-of-life needs on the Winnebago Reservation, coordinating education, cultural, and substance abuse prevention initiatives through strategic planning, grant development, and program administration. 

Food Sovereignty

HCCDC partners with the Winnebago Tribe and community organizations to reduce food insecurity by supporting local food production, increasing access to fresh, healthy foods, and addressing nutrition-related health challenges on the Winnebago Reservation.

Commercial Development

HCCDC supports rural economic growth by developing commercial space in Ho-Chunk Village and partnering with Ho-Chunk Community Capital to provide technical assistance and start-up loans to emerging and expanding Native-owned businesses.
